If you see an error message like “This email is already in use” when you attempt to register at Pickleball Backyard that means that you are already registered using that email address at some other venue that also uses CourtReserve. It is very simple to fix this. To fix, follow these steps:

1. You MUST first login to CourtReserve. If you’re seeing the “Email already in use” error, you have an account even if you’re not aware of it. Go through the “Forgot Password” process to get logged in if necessary.
2. Once logged into CourtReserve, go to “MY ORGANIZATIONS” (It may be in the “More” menu at the bottom of your screen)
3. Select “ADD ORGANIZATION”
4. Search for Pickleball Backyard by entering “b a c k” in search field
5. Select Pickleball Backyard from the list and then “CREATE ACCOUNT”
6. Fill out the registration form (NOTE: for Membership select “Register as a Guest” if you’d like to play as a non-member)
7. Agree to Terms of Use, “CREATE ACCOUNT”, agree again and “CLICK TO SIGN” to sign (with finger)
8. Save Signature
9. Check to Opt-In to receive confirmations and alerts on your phone via text
10. Congratulations! You’re registered at Pickleball Backyard

Once registered at Pickleball Backyard, you can Book a Court for private reservations.

1. Login to your CourtReserve account for Pickleball Backyard
2. Select “BOOK A COURT” from the Home page
3. Click on any available “RESERVE” for the date and time you’d like to play
4. Add all the players who will be on the reservation with you by searching for them and selecting them (they must also be registered at Pickleball Backyard in CourtReserve)
5. Once all players are selected, click “SAVE”
6. Congratulations! You’ve reserved a court at Pickleball Backyard
7. You’ll receive Text and/or Email confirmations (depending on your opt-in choices)
8. Your PIN for access will be visible on your CourtReserve Home page when logged into your PBBY account
9. Remember, no PIGGYBACKING! Every player must be listed on the reservation

Once registered at Pickleball Backyard, you can register for other events.

1. Login to your CourtReserve account for Pickleball Backyard
2. Select “Drop-Ins, RRs, Others” from the Home page
3. Select “All Drop-Ins, RRs, Others” to see a list of all events
4. Select any event you’d like to register for
5. Click on “REGISTER” and then “FINALIZE REGISTRATION”
6. Congratulations! You’ve registered for an event at Pickleball Backyard
7. You’ll receive Text and/or Email confirmations (depending on your opt-in choices)
8. Your PIN for access will be visible on your CourtReserve Home page when logged into your PBBY account
9. Remember, no PIGGYBACKING! Every player must be listed on the reservation

Entering a door access code does not register in CourtReserve as a “check-in”. To check yourself in:

1. From the Home page of the CourtReserve app, touch the barcode in the upper right corner
2. Scan your QR code on the scanner at the front desk
