Meet Our Coaches

All Coaches are PPR Certified

I moved to “The Valley” in 1989 and taught tennis, as well as competed in tournaments, for almost 30 years. I have been playing pickleball and competing in tournaments the past four years, but really enjoy teaching and developing new players as well as experienced players who want to move up to the next level(s). I do private and semi-private lessons as well as family, group, corporate or special events.
Meet Dallas, the youngest coach at PBBY and former table tennis player. After years of experience honing skills on the table, Dallas seamlessly transitioned his expertise and finesse to the court, bringing a unique blend of precision and strategy to every lesson. Whether you’re a beginner looking to grasp the basics or a seasoned player aiming to elevate your game, Dallas is committed to guiding you towards success in the exciting world of pickleball. He uses his training in PPR and Suzee Anderson Academy to perfect your mechanics and provide you with an arsenal of shots to dominate on the court. Book a lesson with Dallas to improve, and have fun doing it!

Harold Patterson retired in Anchorage Alaska and learned to play pickleball at The Dome indoor sports arena there. He moved to Arizona a few years later and finds it is a great place to pursue enjoyable activities like pickleball, tennis, racquetball, hiking, ballroom dancing, mountain biking and more.

Before learning pickleball, he had been playing racquetball for nearly 40 years and this experience has proven to be greatly helpful in transitioning to the game of pickleball. He has fun playing recreational round robin pickleball and joining drop-in groups to play. Additionally, he has played in numerous tournaments and has gold medals in 4.5 mixed doubles, 4.0 men’s singles and 4.0 men’s doubles. The trophies can be special but it’s the experiences with friends, family and new acquaintances that really make pickleball the best and fastest growing sport!

Harold enjoys training and drilling one-on-one, along with leading group lessons and training activities.

Hello! I have been playing pickleball for over 3 years now. I am a tournament player and I work very hard. I have been training a lot and require the best of myself. I have gained a lot of knowledge during this past year and am ready to deliver the best I have for you.

I am a retired dentist and come from Los Altos, California (next to Palo Alto and Stanford University). I practiced in my own private practice in Los Altos for 20 years.

I have two sons. My older son is in San Diego Law School and will be graduating in April, 2024. My younger son was a Division II college tennis player. He is considering playing pickleball but wants to establish his own business first. I am fun and have lots of energy. I fell in love with this game and would like to help you do the same. See you soon!
